I had asked about the availability of the small glass balltip slide from the custom shop and got a response in under an hour, and he managed to get one sent out to me within a day. On top of that he said if it didn’t fit right, he would have no problem giving me an exchange or a refund. So, with customer service it’s an A++. As for the slide, man…it may be the best of both worlds for me, this will be my 5th rockslide and I love my brass balltip slide for the contact surface, and my molded glass for the weight and tone, so I knew i had to have one. It has a bit more heft than the molded glass, but still feels quicker than the brass balltip, it is a bit snugger, but it actually fit very nicely around my pinky just before my knuckle bends. whereas the others have a bit more wiggle room and I sometimes have to adjust in the middle of a song. Probably my number one slide right now, but anyone who plays slide knows each one has its own application. I’ll definitely keep coming back here for slides every time.
